The Officers’ Mess provided offices, workspace and recreation for the officers stationed at the Guards Depot, Caterham. It included a dining room, a pool room and various offices. Now it offers serviced offices, training and meeting rooms for local businesses.
The Mess is the property of Caterham Barracks Community Trust, a charity set up to provide facilities and opportunities for the whole of Caterham. The profit from this business centre supports the activities of the Trust so in taking space here you are contributing to the well being of Caterham.
The Trust has developed a range of facilities including the Naafi with its nursery, Little Treasures, the Green and Cricket Pitch with a Pavilion, a football field (Caterham Pumas) and an arts and recreation centre called the ARC
